ACT 2 SCENE 2 SUMMARY
Romeo is looking for Juliet when he finds her on a balcony. “What light through yonder window breaks?” he asks. Juliet is talking to herself as well. Juliet knows not of Romeo’s presents as she talks of him. “A rose by any other name would smell as sweet” This means that a rose would smell the same if it had a different name because a name doesn’t define an object. The Nurse starts calling for Juliet and Romeo and Juliet depart.
