describe at least one important character in the written text. explain how this character is revealed through out the text?

Jack is a strong willed, driven, determined boy from England that was the head boy and leader of his school’s School Choir. Throughout the novel he changes from a respectable and civilised British child, but by the end Jack becomes more violent, insistent and gives into his deepest darkest urges.

In the novel we see Jack transform from a normal boy into a bloodthirsty savage. At the beginning Jack doesn’t kill the pig, although he had the opportunity to, he didn’t have the heart for it. This shows how he is controlled and unwilling to be violent. He is just a young child from England who was in a plane crash, and had only been in the wilderness of this unknown island for a few days.     In your introduction you need to outline the three points you are going to be discussing in your paragraphs. This means a very brief description of all three. At the moment I can only see one point you are going to discuss. Remember to follow the SEXY structure when writing your body paragraphs as well. Make your statement, explain what you mean, provide a quote that relates to your point, use that quote to discuss the author’s purpose, make a specific connection to the world outside the novel and the tie it back to your initial statement. Jack is a good character to focus on as there is a lot you can discuss about his character. Think about the role he plays in the novel, how he changes throughout, his personality and his strengths and weaknesses.
