Prologue analysis

The narrator Death first states his very human like characteristics. This immediately takes the readers by surprise, because it is hard to believe that death would have such feelings judging by what he does. He introduces the theme of colour and beauty, which quickly distracts you from the inevitable outcome of processing suffering and death. It would seem that death is bound by his work, because of his regretful wording it seems like he actually would be a decent being to hangout with, if only he wasn’t the entity who takes you away after you die.
